Dr. Karen K. Euers was raised in Eagle Lake where she acquired her love for animals. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lamar University in 1973, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1976. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Euers worked as an associate for 3 years.
In 1980, she returned to her home town of Eagle Lake, Texas and opened her first mixed practice, where she practiced for 11 years.
In 1991, Dr. Euers moved to the Katy area opened her first exclusive small animal practice on Mason Rd. In 1999, Dr. Euers sold her practice in Katy and moved to Austin, Texas where she opened a clinic on Slaughter Lane.
Dr. Euers moved back to the Katy area in 2002 and opened her current practice on Highland Knolls.
Dr. Euers enjoys spending time with her husband, Russell, and four children (Michael, Eric, Darren and Katie), as well as her five grandchildren (Tegan, Cainin, Brennin, Westin and Madison).
Dr. Euers’ pets include two poodles “Ralph” and “Reagan”, a Bichon Frise “Coby” and a Ragdoll cat “Briana”.
Outside of work, Dr. Euers’ interests include gardening, exercising and snow skiing, as well as traveling. Dr. Euers is an active supporter of local high school sports as well as KISD FFA.
